Mitchell Tharp - Founder

Mitch created Tharp Technology Services to grow and share his passion for information technology, learning, and value creation. These passions, combined with his rich technical and business experience, allow him to serve and delight his clients. He's worked extensively in IT for over 15 years, with deep roots in the life sciences industry, experienced in finance, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, commercial, marketing, and legal.

Prior to starting Tharp Technology Services, Mitch worked at Assertio Therapeutics to deliver and support a modern, cloud-based ERP solution. Before that, he built his career at Abbott Laboratories, serving in a variety of technical and business facing roles, where he developed global data analytic solutions for a world class manufacturing team and deployed technology solutions to optimize business processes. He graduated from Purdue University with a double major in Industrial Management and Accounting, with a focus on Information Systems. While studying, he worked in Purdue's IT department to support students and faculty. In high school, he was paid by the school to skip class and service hundreds of computers across his school system!
